I've never left a show disappointed. Growing up, you see the bands you love from the radio and they emulate everything and more that you thought they would. That's my goal as a lead singer.

In my opinion, today's technology has lessened the medium of music. Mp3 downloading, media streams, bootlegging, etc... all takes away from the experience of going to a show to see your heroes.

Music today is not fulfilling for me. I don't think record labels give enough credit to the kids. They think if they package something pretty or overproduce a bunch of "cute" guys,(sorry ladies don't mean to leave you out, you rock!) then kids will buy into it...I DISAGREE

Bad music is bad music no matter how you change the appearance. Too many bands focus on an image because the music lacks, the heart lacks, the talent lacks.

I've seen enough days of 50 pound pale faced long haired skeletons lamenting on the hardships of their lives. No one has a perfect anything and these types of bands bring out the worst in creativity, they stifle the very roots of rock music.

When you see Waking Alice, your seeing musicians who sound exactly like their recording. We don't use tricks, we don't use cheap cliche images (like wearing scarves or getting 200 dollar haircuts), we play and we have a great time. That's what we want to give to everyone who comes out to a show.

I never want anyone to leave one of our shows disappointed. We have something for everyone, and this generation has a lot more positive energy to channel than A & R reps think...
